Rooting and Unrooting Your Galaxy Y:-

ROOT:-

(Download ur Root zip from googling it, this one is only for Galaxy Y)

Note:- Rooting your device will void your warranty.

1. Copy to your sdcard
2. Switch off your device.
3. Now press VOL UP+ POWER+ HOME all together.
4. Now you are in stock recovery mode.
5. Touch will not work here so use your volume up and down to navigate and home to sele.ct
6. Select second option "Apply update from SDCARD"
7. Then choose update.zip(downloded file)
8. Reboot device and u are done.

After reboot if you find Superuser in app drawer, then u r done. CONGO.

UNROOT:-

(Download ur Unroot zip from googling it, this one is only for Galaxy Y)

Note:- After you unroot your device your warranty will be renewed .

all steps are same but:

  6. choose unroot-update.zip

after reboot ,the superuser is uninstalled and hence you are successfully Unrooted.
